James is Senior Surveyor at Dowley Turner Real Estate, specialising in leasing and development within the Industrial sector.
James has worked in commercial property for over five years, with experience in Valuation, Greater M25 Office markets and ‘Big Shed’ Industrial agency and development. Previous notable projects include a 100,000 sq ft pre-let to Tesco.com at Gatwick South Distribution Centre and advising well known occupiers including Royal Mail, River Island and Sanofi on their UK holdings.
James has previously worked at Savills Plc and a Midlands based property developer.
James graduated with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Land Management from the University of Reading Business School in 2007. He was elected to the RICS in 2010.

Simon is a partner in charge of Office Agency at Dowley Turner Real Estate. Simon has specialised in the Greater M25 and Southeast Office Markets for over 11 years. Simon’s experience includes leasing and development such as the pre-let of 75,000 sq ft to Celgene at Stockley Park, Heathrow in 2012.
Simon joined Savills Plc as a graduate in 1999 and moved to the south east Office Agency Team in 2001. Simon was already a Director of that team by 2007. His client’s include F&C Reit, Aberdeen, CBRE Investors, Wainbridge and BAM Properties.
Simon graduated with a BA Hons in Geography from Leicester University in 1997 and went on to gain a Masters in Real Estate from South Bank University in 1999.

Richard is a Partner of Dowley Turner Real Estate LLP.
Richard has specialised in the Industrial Distribution sector for almost 13 years, primarily focusing on the south east of England.
Richard’s experience encompasses leasing and development advice of both multi-let estates and large scale distribution units. Some notable highlights include the 380,000 sq ft Comet pre-let in Harlow, the 450,000 sq ft Carpet Right letting in Purfleet, the 96,000 sq ft letting to D-Link in Park Royal and 40,000 pre-lets to Selco in Ealing and Southall.
In 1997 he joined Hiller Parker, moving in to the Industrial Agency team in 1999. In 2000, he joined niche Industrial Agency, Development and Investment specialists, Holley Blake. Richard worked at CB Richard Ellis for four years and was primarily responsible for the west London market and dealt with clients such as Brixton, Canmoor, ProLogis and Scottish Widows.
Richard graduated with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Estate Management from University of Northumbria, Newcastle.

David is a Partner of Dowley Turner Real Estate LLP.
David is responsible for the co-ordination of the company’s Investment and Development funding activities.
David has 27 years experience of logistics development and investment and has carried out advisory roles across the UK and Europe. (TEXT DELETED) He has advised Harbert Asset Management on some £500 million of deals in the last 3 years and London & Stamford properties on some £400m of deals in the last 2 years. He advised Blackstone on the £480 million acquisition of Chiswick Park and recently acted for RREEF’s Malaysian client EPF in the acquisition of the £80 million Sainsbury warehouse in Dartford.
Since DTRE’s formation David has advised on numerous fundings in the UK, including the site acquisition, funding and pre-letting of a 420,000 Waitrose warehouse in Chorley for BA Pension Fund and Evander Developments and the site assembly and letting of a pre-let Tesco warehouse in Crawley in a JV between Scottish Widows and Lynton Developments.
David previously worked at CB Richard Ellis for four years and was responsible for the co-ordination of the group’s Logistics Investment and Development Funding work in the UK and he sat on the Cross-Border Committee with responsibility for Logistics Investment across EMEA. This included advising UniCredit on a £330m German Industrial disposal with stapled debt to Hansteen.
Prior to joining CB Richard Ellis David spent 10 years as a partner of Holley Blake, niche Industrial, Logistics and Business Park specialist.

Keith is a Partner of Dowley Turner Real Estate LLP.
Keith specialises in large scale distribution buildings and developments, and has a broad role in all aspects of Agency, Development and Investment. Keith has over 25 years experience in Industrial Agency. His career began in 1984 at Chamberlain & Willows and he later became a founding Partner of Holley Blake, the South East’s leading Industrial Agency and Development Specialists. Following the sale of Holley Blake in 2006, Keith was appointed an Executive Director of the National Business Team at CB Richard Ellis and was responsible for the Office and Industrial, Agency and Development Teams.
Keith has enjoyed a long and successful association with many of the key players in this sector and has played a significant role in the acquisition and funding of many development sites, successful pre-letting campaigns, as well as Investment sales and acquisitions.
Keith’s recent key transactions include the sale of the Teal Portfolio for ProLogis for £214m and he recently advised on the sale of SEGRO’s £80m Westcore multi-let estates portfolio.
He has also been closely involved with Blackstone’s strategy in the UK Logistics market and has advised on the acquisition of 20 warehouse buildings for £370m over the last 12 months throughout the UK.
In 2007 he advised Gladman on the sale of 4m sq ft vacant warehouses for £180m, and has advised Bericote Properties on the acquisition of over 200 acres of Development Land in the last 3 years.

John’s career started with Grant and Partners in 1988. He joined Balfour Beatty Developments in 1991 and then Kemsley, Whitely and Ferris in 1994, where he was involved in the East Thames Corridor markets.
In 1999 he joined GVA Grimley (now GVA) where he spent over 10 years in the national industrial team responsible for agency and development in the South East and other parts of the UK. This included acting for major occupiers such as TDG Plc, Centrica and CNH UK, as well as acting for major developers and institutions.
John joined Dowley Turner Real Estate at its formation and is now responsible for major projects around the UK including sites for design and build totalling over 8,000,000 sq ft.
He has recently concluded major transactions with co-op, Waitrose, Lidl and Harrods.

Rupert has worked within the commercial property market for 6 years and qualified as a chartered surveyor in 2009 with multidisciplinary experience including valuation, retail agency and investment and development advice, having worked at DE&J Levy.
Since joining Dowley Turner Real Estate, Rupert has been involved in major industrial portfolios totaling £285m. He has also acted on the sale of office and industrial investments on behalf of Gazeley, and JP Morgan, and development funding on behalf of Exton Estates and Evander Properties, funded by Scottish Widows and BA Pension Fund respectively.
